Typical Applications

•  Domestic pool applications: The SPL range of swimming pool pumps is suitable for all types of domestic pool applications. This includes residential pools, private pools, and small-scale pool installations.
• Strainer basket: All models in the SPL range feature a large strainer basket with an easy-open transparent cover. This allows for convenient maintenance and cleaning by providing easy access to the basket, which collects debris and leaves from the pool water.
• Corrosion-resistant construction: The hydraulic components of the pumps are made from high-strength glass-reinforced corrosion-resistant polypropylene. This ensures a long lifespan of the pump, even when exposed to the chemicals and water conditions commonly found in swimming pools.
• Fixed and variable speed options: The SPL range offers both fixed speed and variable speed models. Fixed speed models, such as the SPL 550/750/1100, feature a two-pole TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled) asynchronous motor designed for continuous duty. Variable speed models, such as the SPL 1100 VS, are equipped with an asynchronous motor and an inbuilt frequency converter. The variable speed option allows for three preset operating speeds and fractional speed adjustment, which can help reduce energy consumption during periods of low pool usage.
