1. GENERAL LIABILITY

SB Innovations Ltd (referred to as "the Company") limits its responsibility for defects or failures in the supplied equipment to repairing or replacing the faulty items at the Company's discretion. This liability only covers issues that arise from faulty design, materials, or workmanship under normal use within a specified timeframe, which begins once the equipment is delivered to the customer. After this period ends, the Company holds no further liability. The warranty period is determined based on when the Company is notified of the failure.

This warranty exclusively applies to the supplied equipment and does not cover any consequential damages, regardless of how they arise. Additionally, the warranty excludes defects caused by normal wear and tear, improper handling, lack of maintenance, incorrect installation, user incompetence, natural disasters, or any other factors beyond the Company’s control. Furthermore, any repairs or attempted repairs by parties other than the Company void the warranty.

  1. STANDARD WARRANTY

2.1 General Terms

If a failure occurs during normal operation, provided the equipment has been properly installed and is functioning within its specified limits, the following warranty terms apply:

  • Electric Pumps and Other Specified Products
    • Up to two years: Replacement or repair at no cost for only SATTE Products.
    • Over two years but less than three years: Replacement or repair at 50% of the current market price charged by SB Innovations Ltd for only SATTE Products
    • One year warranty- Other product brands sold by SB Innovations
  • Engine Pumps & Generators
    • Up to six months: Replacement or repair at no cost.
    • Over six months but less than one year: Replacement or repair at 50% of the current market price charged by SB Innovations Ltd.

For equipment provided or installed by third parties, having been verified that a certified technician did the installation and was done to acceptable standards, the defective item must be promptly returned to SB Innovations Ltd for repairs, after which it can be collected. No on-site repairs are included in this warranty, and any on-site service charges will be billed and if any of such on-site repairs are done then charges will be billed as per SB Innovations at standard rates.

2.2 Electric Motors

Since motor failures can be caused by factors beyond the Company’s control, the warranty is subject to the following conditions:

  • The motor must be paired with an approved/certified control panel or SATTE controller, in addition a SATTE AVS to safeguard the product from power surges, high and low voltage, for three-phase motors, rated electro-mechanical starter with overload protection must be installed and a high-current cut-out for single-phase setups. Additionally, three-phase submersible borehole installations must include high and low voltage and phase control relays.
  • For solar installations, earthing and lightening protection to acceptable standards should be in place for the warranty to apply.
  • The pump and control panel must be permanently installed with fixed electrical connections. Temporary connections are not covered under the warranty.
  • No claims will be accepted if the motor has operated outside the manufacturer’s specified limits for frequency, voltage, or phase symmetry, or if there is evidence of incorrect power supply connections.

2.3 Water Pumps

Most pumps provided are intended for use with clean, cold water (up to 30°C). If the pumped water does not meet these conditions, and the pump is not specifically designed for such use by the Company or manufacturer, no warranty will be provided for wear or subsequent damage.

Because all pumps are lubricated by water, severe damage may result if they run without water. Therefore, the Company excludes any warranty claims for damage caused by running the pump dry or other damage due to improper installation conditions.

 

  • PV Modules
    • Up to Ten years- The panel will be replaced at no charge based on quality issues Including Frame, Cable, and junction box.
    • Up to Twenty- Five years - The panel will be replaced at 50% of the prevailing price based on % 80% of the power output of solar panel

Note

  • Breakages of panels during transportation and Installation is not covered on warranty.
  • Damage of junction boxes due to either wrong wiring or lightning is not covered on warranty.

 

  • Solar Water Heaters
    • Tank and Heat Exchanger: [Specify number of years, e.g., 5 years or 10 years] from the date of purchase.
    • Collector Panels: [Specify number of years, e.g., 10 years] from the date of purchase.
    • Electrical Components and Controls: [Specify number of years, e.g., 1 year] from the date of purchase.

Note:

During the warranty period, SB Innovations will repair or replace any defective part of the Solar Water Heater, at no cost to the purchaser, if the defect is due to faulty materials or poor workmanship. This warranty includes:

  • Parts Replacement: Replacement of defective parts or materials.
  • Labor: Reasonable labor costs associated with the repair of any defect covered by this warranty.

This warranty is valid only for products installed and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. The solar water heater must be installed by a certified technician as per local building codes and regulatory requirements.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance.
  • Natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, or lightning.
  • Unauthorized repairs or alterations.
  • This warranty applies to residential installations only. For commercial installations, different terms may apply.

 

3) PROOF OF PURCHASE

To validate a warranty claim, the original invoice from the supplier must be presented before any repairs or replacements are approved.
