Application
The Dayliff DBH range of horizontal multistage centrifugal pumps, specifically designed for continuous duty, is well-suited for various water transfer applications, particularly when pumping slightly corrosive liquids. Here are some applications where the DBH pump range can be used:
1. Chemical Industry: The DBH pumps are suitable for pumping slightly corrosive liquids in the chemical industry. They can handle the transfer of chemicals, solvents, and corrosive fluids with ease, thanks to their construction with AISI 316 stainless steel components. These pumps ensure reliable and efficient liquid transfer while minimizing the risk of corrosion and damage.
2. Water Treatment Facilities: The DBH pumps can be utilized in water treatment plants for transferring corrosive liquids during different stages of the treatment process. They are capable of handling slightly corrosive chemicals used for disinfection, pH adjustment, or other water treatment processes, ensuring smooth and reliable liquid transfer.
3. Food and Beverage Industry: These pumps find application in the food and beverage industry where slightly corrosive liquids are involved. They can be used for transferring fluids such as fruit juices, dairy products, sauces, or other food-grade liquids, maintaining hygiene standards and ensuring efficient liquid transfer without compromising product quality.
4. Industrial Processes: The DBH pumps are well-suited for various industrial processes that involve the transfer of slightly corrosive liquids. They can be utilized in manufacturing plants, factories, and industrial settings where the movement of corrosive fluids is required, ensuring reliable and efficient liquid transfer for different applications.
5. Cooling Systems: These pumps can be employed in cooling systems that utilize slightly corrosive liquids as coolants. They can effectively circulate coolants through heat exchangers or cooling towers, maintaining optimal temperatures and heat dissipation in industrial processes or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems.
It's important to ensure compatibility between the pumped liquid and the pump materials, and to follow proper installation and maintenance procedures to maximize the lifespan and performance of the DBH pumps in each specific application.
MOTOR
The pump is coupled to a totally enclosed, fan cooled single phase squirrel-cage motor with built in thermal overload protection suitable for continuous duty. The motor can be connected to a power outlet fuse or MCB and protection must be provided.
