DWX

The DAYLIFF DWX range of waste water pumps is designed for various drainage applications and offers high specifications. The range includes models with open impellers (DWXD) and vortex impellers (DWXV). Applications where the DAYLIFF DWX pumps can be used:

1. Basement and Cellar Drainage: The DWX pumps are suitable for draining basements and cellars, particularly in situations where the water may contain light silt or debris. The DWXD model, with its jacketed motor casing and top-mounted outlet, can operate partially submerged, making it ideal for these applications.

2. Construction Sites: These pumps can be used on construction sites for drainage purposes. They are capable of handling lightly silted water and can effectively remove water that accumulates in excavations, trenches, or foundation areas.

3. Flooded Areas: The DAYLIFF DWX pumps are useful for draining flooded areas, such as streets, parking lots, and low-lying regions. The DWXD model is suitable for draining water with light silt or debris, while the DWXV model, with its vortex impeller and side outlet, can handle heavily polluted waters commonly associated with flooding.

4. Industrial and Commercial Drainage: These pumps can be employed in various industrial and commercial settings where drainage is required. Whether it's removing wastewater from manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings, or storage areas, the DWX pumps can effectively handle the drainage process.

5. Wastewater Treatment Systems: The DAYLIFF DWX pumps can be used in small-scale wastewater treatment systems, including septic tanks, package treatment plants, or onsite wastewater treatment facilities. They are capable of transferring wastewater for treatment or disposal, ensuring smooth operation and proper management of the wastewater.

When selecting a specific model from the DWX range, consider factors such as the type of impeller (open or vortex), the level of pollution in the water, the level of submergence required, and the overall material compatibility.

MOTOR
Pumps are provided with dry type two pole motors designed for continuous duty. They are fitted with integral thermal protectors and can be connected directly to mains power supply through a suitably rated fuse or MCB, though additional protection is recommended where there is risk of voltage fluctuation.
